Skin Matters does require scheduled appointments. We encourage you to schedule appointments well in advance, especially prior to major holidays. Please note that upon scheduling your appointment, you will be asked to provide a credit card number to guarantee your treatment. Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to reserving your appointment time. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of this policy.
A Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express credit card is required to hold your appointment(s). We observe strict privacy policies and will not disclose this information to any other party. Your credit card number will be securely kept in your history file.
If you arrive for a scheduled treatment appointment and decide not to receive any services, there will be a minimum charge of $25 or more, depending on services and amount of time scheduled, as this is considered a cancellation.
Please note: When requesting an appointment through our website, please look for the acceptance confirmation for the specific day and time requested. If the appointment is unavailable, the front desk will contact you to set up a time that is available.
As a courtesy to our clients, we will send you a text message reminder at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service. If you choose not to provide us with your cell phone number, we are unable to offer you a reminder. Should the appointment reminder system fail for any reason and you do not receive an appointment reminder, it is still your responsibility to manage your appointment and adhere to the cancellation policy.
We ask that you please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment, so you’ll have plenty of time to unwind and do any paperwork that may be required. If you are running late please contact us and *note the grace period charges below. Late arrivals will limit the time of your treatment, as your appointment will end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next patient’s appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, in some cases it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. In such cases, the cancellation policy will apply.
In the event you are running late, we offer a 10 minute grace period to the start time of our appointments. If you arrive within this grace period, we will try our best to accommodate the appointment if we have time available. Arrival after the 10 minute grace period will result in a fee as follows:
For Skin and Laser appointments: Appointments up to 25 minutes result in a charge of $25. Appointments over 25 minutes result in a charge of $50, as this will be considered a cancellation.
For injectable appointments: Appointments up to 30 minutes result in a charge of $25. Appointments over 30 minutes result in a charge of $50, as this will be considered a cancellation.
Should you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, your credit card on file will be charged the cancellation fee. If you do not arrive at your scheduled appointment without providing notification, the service will be considered rendered and you will either be charged the full amount of the service or the cancellation fee, whichever is greater.
We require that all new clients retain a valid credit card on file for our cancellation policy. Please note that if your credit card is not on file, any voucher or remaining treatments from your package will be forfeited. We will not charge the credit card on file as long as you make adjustments to your scheduled appointment prior to the 24 hour window.
Appointments scheduled for Monday must be cancelled/rescheduled by 4pm on Saturday in order to avoid cancellation fees. Should you happen to arrive late for a scheduled appointment; we ask that you please refer to our arrival policy above.

If you have purchased a Groupon and would like to book, we ask that you provide us with the coupon code at the time of booking the appointment, if you call to book, or we may redeem at the time of your visit.
Please note the expiration date on your Groupon, as we will not honor it after that date.
When does my package expire?
